How long does it take to make an authentic hand-made oriental rugs?
Leave you say about 10'x17 '. Where are made, and labor laws are bad! Broken?
Hi Glenn, Well, it takes some time to put a knot oriental rugs, the size you mention, but it also depends on how many people are actually working on that too. Sometimes it can take 3-4 people over a year to carpet! They were made around the world, Iran, Pakistan, Turkey ... all countries there. People who work all day to do, but they can do without even thinking. They are very talented and dedicated people who work and the process is very difficult. There is no way of knowing what kind labor laws that exist in countries that these carpets are made and if they are applied or not. Our labor laws, I am sure, are very different its laws, although laws. Anyway, these carpets are expensive and for good reason. Knotted carpets are hand made to last several generations, and will last for many years.
